ICC Champions Trophy, 2017 Full Schedule and, Player List , Team And Venue Details The 2017 ICC Champions Trophy is a One Day International (ODI) cricket tournament scheduled to be held in England and Wales between 1 and 18 June 2017.This will be the eighth edition of the event. The top eight groups within the ICC ODI Championship rankings as on 30 September 2015 qualified for the tournament. The eight groups have been divided into two groups of 4.

Bangladesh replaced the West Indies, who finished outside the highest eight in ninth place, within the ICC ODI Team Rankings on the cut-off date. Bangladesh returned to the ICC Champions Trophy for the primary time since 2006, and for the first time, the West Indies lost their place within the Champions Trophy.

ICC Champions Trophy 2017 will be performed throughout three venues, Sophia Gardens in Cardiff, Edgbaston in Birmingham and Kennington Oval in London. A total of 15 matches will probably be performed throughout the event, together with semi-finals and last. The summit conflict will happen on 18 June at Kennington Oval in London.

Every team will play three matches within the league stage. The ICC Champions Trophy 2017 opens with hosts England taking up Bangladesh. The main attraction of ICC Champions Trophy is the India vs. Pakistan match. The normal rivals will go face to face at Edgbaston on 04 June.

Champions: New Zealand defeated India by 4 wickets.

2002

Host: Sri Lanka.

Champions: Within the rain-marred finals, India and Sri Lanka were declared the joint winners.

Host: England.

Champions: West Indies defeated England by 2 runs.

2006

Host: India

Champions: Australia defeated West Indies by 8 wickets.

2009

Host: South Africa.

Champions: Australia defeated New Zealand by 6 wickets and lifted the trophy for the second time.

2013

Host: England

Champions: In the truncated finals, India defeated England by 5 runs and lifted the trophy for the second time.
